Forever Plaid
You heard of The Four Freshman, and The Lettermen, but wait until you’ve heard The Plaids - a fictional 1950’s group tragically killed in their car colliding with a bus load of Catholic school girls on their way to see the Beatles and miraculously brought back to earth for one last concert. This is one of Copperstate’s most popular musicals and it is returning as a pre-engagement to the Arizona Premier of Plaid Tidings - The Forever Plaid Christmas Show. So…the boys are back in town and they’re ‘plaid to the bone’.
The Copperstate Dinner Theater is pleased to announce the opening of the delightful musical revue Forever Plaid, Sept. 14th through Nov. 11th. The Copperstate Dinner Theater production of Forever Plaid is directed Copperstate’s Producing Director Peter J. Hill, Choreographed by Noel Irick and Musical Direction by Bill Moore. The production stars some of the best voices to ever grace our stage: Jesse Berger - always our audience favorite, Stephen Goodfriend, Chris Fidler and Matt Bauer.
Forever Plaid will play at the Copperstate Dinner Theater, 3801 E. Washington inside the Phoenix Greyhound Park. Performances are Friday & Saturday evenings dinner 6:30, curtain 8:00, with Sunday Supper Shows with dinner 5:30 and curtain 7:00. The ticket price for all performances is only $39.95 per person which includes dinner and the show as well as tax and gratuity.
Dinner is a sit-down service, not buffet, with a choice of four delicious entrees: prime rib, grilled salmon filet, teriyaki chicken breast, and vegetable lasagna. Meals come with side dishes, salad with choice of dressing, rolls and butter. Appetizers, desserts and beverages are extra. A full bar is available. Reservations can be made at (602) 279-3129.
