funnymoney.gifThe Copperstate Dinner Theater At Phoenix Greyhound Park is pleased to announce the valley premier of the hilarious farce Funny Money.

The Master of Farce returns! Ray Cooney, author of the Copperstate mega-hits, Run For Your Wife and Caught in the Net, is back at his hilarious best! Henry Perkins, a mild-mannered CPA accidentally picks up a briefcase full of cash. Suspecting it to be illicit money, he rushes home to book one-way tickets to Barcelona! When a body riddled with bullets is pulled from the Thames, carrying Henry’s briefcase, Henry, his wife & his harried neighbors must find a way to deal with the funny money! A valley premier!

Funny Money is directed by Peter J. Hill who with Arizona Republic calls ‘The Valley’s master farceur.‘, and stars Ross Collins, Scott Connelly, Bruce Halperin, Julie Van Lith, Michael Stewart, Janine Smith and Hill himself. Collins and Hill are the stars of Run For Your Wife and Caught in the Net and are delighted to be reunited in yet another Ray Cooney laugh-fest.

Funny Money will play at the Copperstate Dinner Theater, 3801 E. Washington inside the Phoenix Greyhound Park. Performances are MARCH 9 through APRIL 8, 2007, Friday & Saturday evenings dinner 6:30, curtain 8:00. And Sunday Supper Shows with dinner 5:30 and curtain 7:00. The ticket price for all performances is only $32.95 per person which includes dinner and the show as well as tax and gratuity. Dinner is a sit-down service, not buffet. With a choice of four delicious entrees: prime rib, grilled salmon filet, teriyaki chicken breast, and vegetable lasagna. Meals come with side dishes, salad with choice of dressing, rolls and butter.
