Inspecting CarolThe Copperstate Dinner Theater At Phoenix Greyhound Park is pleased to announce the opening of the holiday comedy, Inspecting Carol.

The Dickens You Say!! When A Christmas Carol meets The Inspector General meets Noises Off we’re all Scrooged! A man asks for an audition at a small theater company and is mistaken for an informer from The National Endowment for the Arts. Everyone caters to the bewildered wannabe actor and he is given a role in the annual production of A Christmas Carol. Hilarity is piled on hilarity as the desperate troupe tries to make Dickens’s perennial classic relevant and politically correct.

Inspecting Carol is directed by Peter J. Hill and stars Jesse Berger, Marty Berger, Leslie Haddad, Roy Hunt, Noel Irick, Timothy Justin, Kathi Osborne, Carolyn Pain, Duncan Shuckerow and Hill.

December 31st will feature our special New Year’s Performance. Dinner service will begin at 7:30pm with Curtain at 9:00pm. The price of $32.95 will include champagne, noisemakers and hats and admission to the Greyhound Park New Year’s Celebration in the clubhouse which features music and dancing to ring in 2006.

Inspecting Carol by Daniel Sullivan and The Seattle Repertory Theatre will play at the Copperstate Dinner Theater, 3801 E. Washington inside the Phoenix Greyhound Park. Performances are NOV. 25 - DEC. 31, 2005, Friday & Saturday evenings dinner 6:30, curtain 8:00. And Sunday Supper Shows with dinner 5:30 and curtain 7:00. The ticket price for all performances is only $32.95 per person which includes dinner and the show as well as tax and gratuity. Dinner is a sit-down service, not buffet. With a choice of four delicious entrees: prime rib, grilled salmon filet, teriyaki chicken breast, and vegetable lasagna. Meals come with side dishes, salad with choice of dressing, rolls and butter.
