The Copperstate Dinner Theater At Phoenix Greyhound Park is pleased to announce the opening of the Arizona Premier of the sixth in Dan Goggin’s incredibly popular Nunsense series of musicals - Nunsensations - The Nunsense Las Vegas Revue.
The Copperstate Dinner Theater production of Nunsensations - The Nunsense Las Vegas Revue is directed Copperstate’s Producing Director Peter J. Hill, Choreographed by Noel Irick with Musical Direction by Bill Moore. The production stars Chrystalle Reed, (Cabaret, Debbie Does Dallas) Elizabeth Reeves, (The Taffetas, The Odd Couple, Nuncrackers) Gina Tomkus, (Fiddler on the Roof, Grease) Laura Webb (The Taffetas, The Music Man) and Noel Irick hilariously returning to her AriZoni Award nominated role as Reverend Mother Mary Regina!
This Arizona Premier takes the sisters on a brand new adventure. When a parishioner volunteers to donate $10,000 to the sisters’ school if they will perform in a club in Las Vegas, Mother Superior is hesitant to accept. However, after being convinced by the other sisters that “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” Reverend Mother agrees. What follows is the most feather-filled, sequin-studded, fan dancing Nunsense show ever! Performing in “The Pump Room” at the Mystique Motor Lodge, the sisters experience “show-biz” like never before. You’ll meet Sin-City Sue, find out who’s Black and White with Her Money on Red, and try to win a new car with the “Holy Rollers Giant Slot Machine.” Taking a line from another show, a critic pointed out, “It’s a whole lot funny and a little bit naughty, but there ain’t nothin’ dirty goin’ on!”
Copperstate Dinner Theater has obtained the right to be the first company in Arizona to present the brand new Nunsense show - Nunsensations - The Nunsense Vegas Revue!! Yep, The Little Sisters of Hoboken are back on the Copperstate Stage! Led by Noel Irick, once again as Reverend Mother, the Nunsense nuns take Vegas by storm! Nunsensations - The Nunsense Vegas Revue will open January 4th and continue through March 9th!
There will also be a special Valentine’s Day performance of Nunsensations - The Nunsense Las Vegas Revue on Tuesday, February 14th. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm and the show will start at 8:00pm. The Valentine’s Day price remains at only $39.95.
