Copperstate Dinner Theater Announces AriZoni Award Winners
The Copperstate Dinner Theater at Phoenix Greyhound park is pleased to announce that it has an even dozen AriZoni Awards for theatrical excellence.
The AriZoni awards, now in their 15th year, recognize excellence in valley theater. More than 100 productions and over 800 individual performances were adjudicated during the 2003-04 season. The Copperstate Dinner Theater earned 36 nominations during the season. The winners were announced in a ceremony Monday evening Sept. 26th at the Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix.

Loren Chamberlain, of Phoenix, died February 28, 2004. He was born and raised in Phoenix and studied music at NAU. He was a gifted musician who shared his talents throughout the valley for over 35 years. Loren was well known and respected in the theater community and was working at Fountain Hills Community Theater and Copperstate Dinner Theater at the time of his death. He was also the choir director and organist at Foothills Christian Church. His ‘day job’ was in the IRTS department at PV Community College. Loren was a kind and generous man whose passion for music infected all who worked with him. No words can express the sorrow of his family and friends that he left behind. He is survived by his wife Cate; his sister Judie; many nieces and nephews and more friends than can be counted. A celebration of his life will be held at 5pm on Sunday, March 7th at Shadow Rock Congregational Church, 12861 North 8th Avenue, Phoenix. Memorial contributions in his name can be made to:
